Form of competition

International 3-day Orienteering Event, single races with overall results.
Middle distance on the first day, shortened long distance on the 2 and 3 days.

This year's Friendship Cup will be held only in Hungary becouse of the coronavirus. We are sorry about this, but in Austria would be too difficoult to organise races. But we hope our race can help so to create friendly relationships between the athletes of both countries and of course also from other countries.

• Bathing at the beach of Lake Hársas (no entry fee) or in Szentgotthárd Spa.

Timing

SportIdent-System without SI-Air will be used. Please state your SI-number when entering for the competition. Chips can be rented in the competition center for 300 HUF/day (1 EUR). No rental fee for under 14s.

Terrain

All three races will be held in beautiful and challenging forests nearto the Austrian-Hungarian border. Runability is really good but shin protection is recommended. Here was held the hungarian championship in 2018.

Prizes

Gift prizes for the winners of each category on all 3 stages. The first 3 of each category in the overall ranking will be rewarded with medals and gift prizes.

Further information

• Final informations will be published 5 days before the competition.
• There will be refreshments for all the runners in the finish.
• All started runners have to report back in the finish, even if they have given up.
• Any commercial activities during the competition are subject to permission of the organizers.
• Each participant starts on his/her own risk!
• Each participant agrees to the publication of photos taken during the competition and to the publication of the results in the Internet.
